Comet Fever!

Throughout the course of the season we interacted with fans on twitter during Coleman Comets games.  One fan who was very responsive was Lauren Graham.  Lauren graduated from Coleman in 2011 and played there for 4 years. He constantly was liking tweets and even asking us questions about what was happening during the game to dig deeper than what was just tweeted since many of the games he was unable to attend.  Lauren showed tremendous support throughout the season and on Senior night, was able to be in the crowd for only his second game of the season as the Comets took on Sacred Heart.  I was able to catch up with Lauren at halftime and talk with him about his beloved Comets.  He thanked us for keeping him up to date with the season even us sticking with it through the difficult stretch.  I asked Lauren why he was still so into following Coleman even after graduating and having no family members on the team.  He stated "playing football at Coleman was awesome man, the support that the community displays whether you're winning or losing is unbelievable and I have made it a point to show my own support." Lauren played under coach Klopf for multiple years and enjoyed success in the program. "Coach Klopf was awesome! There is no doubt he will have this team running smoothly again soon.  He has enjoyed success and one bad season shouldn't make anyone discouraged."  Thank you Lauren for following us and the Comets all season long.
